A Step Of Faith
In October 1998, Pastors Brendan and Helen Kirby resigned from their jobs in Melbourne and moved to Adelaide with five others to start Hope Church Adelaide. As newlyweds, with little savings but a big vision, they stepped out in faith together.

Our Journey
Humble Beginnings
It all started with a small home group in Klemzig and a university group, while Brendan and Helen worked full-time jobs. Lives were changed and a church family began to take shape.
A Growing Church
As God expanded our hearts and vision, Hope Church Adelaide continued to grow - reaching more people and raising up leaders for every season.
Beyond Adelaide
Today, Brendan and Helen have the privilege of overseeing Hope Church Perth, as well as supporting hundreds of churches across Africa, Fiji and India.
